BAKED ZITI FOR AN ARMY

1 Lg container ricotta cheese
1 Lg. package of mozzarella & provolone shredded cheese
2 boxes ziti
2 packages of mozzarella (large size)
2 T. minced garlic
2 T. garlic powder
2 T oregano
1 T. parsley
1/4 cup of brown sugar
3 & 1/2 jars of sauce of your choice (The Marinara Recipe on this site will work best, otherwise in a pinch use Neumans)

Boil 2 boxes of ziti with a pinch of salt and a shot of olive oil. Boil to an al dente. Mix together ricotta and the mozzarella and provolone mix into a medium bowl. Add garlic, garlic powder, parsley, oregano, and brown sugar and mix well.

Add about a 1/2 jar of sauce to this mixture and incorporate. After ziti is cooked to an al dente, drain well and put it back into the boiling pot. Add the creamy ricotta mixture and mix real well. Cover the bottom of 2 baking pans with sauce and add the ziti over top covering the pan evenly. Spoon more sauce over the top of the ziti and cover with mozzarella. Bake for 350 for about an hour.

This will feed about 15 to 18 people.
