CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

TOLL HOUSE ORIGINAL

2 & 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 lg eggs
2 cups (12 oz package) Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chips (seimi sweet is the original recipe. I like to use the milk chocolate.

Preheat oven to 375. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.

Beat butter granulate sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Gradually add in the flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto greased baking/cookie sheet. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Let set for about a minute and let cool on wire racks completely.

Makes about 5 dozen.
