Put eye roast in pan. Coat on top of beef, ketchup, mustard, onion soup mix, garlic. Add water to cover bottom of pan. Cover and roast at 320 at a 1/2 hour per pound. Remove lid for about 1/2 hour. Remove beef, add a mixture of cornstarch and water for thickening the gravy.
