GREEN CHILE VERDI

2lbs lean boneless Pork
2lbs lean boneless Beef Chuck
1 large green bell pepper
2 cloves garlic
1 28oz can crushed tomatoes
4 oz can green chilies
1 tsb sugar
1 tsb cumin
1 can beef broth
Dash of parsley

Cut beef and pork into 1″ pieces Wash and remove seeds from bell pepper and chop fine. garlic should be minced. add more if you like garlic You can sub. fresh green chilies or can buy already cut. Either one of these is fine. You can sub. 2 beef bouillon diluted in water in place of can beef broth.

Put in crock-pot in order listed and mix well. Put lid on crock-pot low for 8-10 hrs Stir & check on it if you want. If you want it “HOT” cut up hot jalapenos to taste. You can also use the jar jalapenos and some of the juice too.

Serve with rice or make burritos with or without red rice & garnish with shredded cheddar or your favorite cheese.
