2 tsp. very hot water
¼ tsp. salt
2 cups marshmallow crème (7 oz jar)
½ cup shortening (Crisco)
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
I got this recipe off of a canoe pan I purchased. So instead of losing the piece of paper when throwing out the box, I typed it up and put it here. ? Simple enough.
Combine salt with water in a small bowl and stir until the salt is dissolved. Let it cool. Combine the marshmallow crème, shortening, powdered sugar and vanilla in a medium bowl and mix with an electric mixer on high speed until fluffy. Combine the salt solution to the filling mixture.
Makes 1 ½ cups
