MONKEY BREAD

1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 cans of buttermilk biscuits
(not flakey or grands)

This is another one of those short but sweet semi-homemade recipes. It’s simple, fast, and delicious and usually doesn’t last very long!

Preheat the oven to 350° and grease a bunt pan. Melt together the butter and brown sugar until nice and caramelized.

Put the sugar and cinnamon in a plastic bag and shake to incorporate together. Cut the biscuits into quarters and drop in bag to coat evenly. Layer the biscuits in the bunt pan and pour the syrup that consists of the butter and brown sugar over top of the biscuits.

Bake for 25 minutes. Turn over on a serving dish after slightly cooled. Serve warm.
