NAVY BEAN SOUP

1 Bag of dry Navy Beans (Soak your navy beans overnight cover with water or broth to about 2 inches above beans)
1 Ham bone
4 Celery
1 Large Onion
1 Pot Herb (I have them shipped in from the Acme in New Jersey!)
2 Cans of stewed tomatoes
1 Bag of Carrots
Add water or chicken broth to cover ingredients.

In a large Pot add all of the ingredients and bring to a boil.
Simmer on medium low for several hours until the beans are soft.
Take some of the beans and crush them to thicken the soup.

Enjoy with some warm bread & butter. Soup is always to taste ~ have fun with it.
