OLD FASHION BEEF & VEGETABLE SOUP

1 Beef Soup Bone (ask the butcher)
3 Pounds of Beef (Stew beef or Pot Roast)
3 Celery stalk ~ chopped
1 Onion – chopped
3 or 4 Sweet Potatoes ~ Peeled & cubed
3 or 4 White Potatoes ~ Peeled & cubed
1 Turnip ~ Peeled & cubed
1 Bag of Carrots ~ Peeled & cubed
1 Bag of Green Beans ~ cut
1 Can of Corn
1 Small head of Green Cabbage ~ shredded
1 Large Can of Stewed Tomatoes
1 Pot Herb (I get this from the Acme in New Jersey!)
1 Clove of Garlic
Salt & Pepper to taste
2 or 3 Tablespoons of Oil
2 or 3 Cans/Boxes of Beef broth (or use Beef Bouillon for flavor)
Use your imagination ~ you can add a bag of frozen mixed vegetables ~ lima beans

Cube the Beef and Cut all the vegetables. Brown the beef in Oil with the garlic then add the Beef broth or water & Bouillon.

Add all the remaining ingredients.

Bring to a boil and reduce to a medium to low simmer. Cook for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours (check vegetables) Keep stirring
