6 Granny smith apples
1 larger size container whole milk yogurt (Vanilla or plain)
1 small carton heavy whipping cream
3 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. cinnamon
1/3 cup raisins
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
Splash of Lime Juice
This is a simple recipe for a nice summer apple salad.
Peel and slice the granny smith apples to about a half inch in size. I use an apple/peeler/corer/slice’r gadget which makes it extremely easy and brings the apples to a nice bite size.
In a medium mixing bowl combine the apples and yogurt. Mix with wooden spoon until apples are evenly coated with yogurt.
In a separate bowl, mix the heavy whipping cream until it’s nice and thick; add it to the yogurt mixture.
Fold in the honey, cinnamon, raisins, walnuts, and splash of lime juice. Incorporate all ingredients and serve chilled.
