Ingredients:
- 4 Cans crushed tomatoes
- 2 Cans plum tomatoes
- 1 Can tomato paste
- 6 TBSP garlic paste or 6 fresh garlic cloves
- 5 TBSP Italian Herbs paste
- 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
- 4/5 TBSP sugar
- 1 TBSP Parsley
- 1 TBSP Basil
- 1/8 to 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
Directions:
Hand crush the plumb tomatoes and set aside. Warm the olive oil in a larger sized pot. Add the garlic and the Italian herbs to the oil and sauté until fragrant – about 2 to 3 minutes. Add the tomato paste and sauté until the paste breaks down. Add the crushed tomatoes and plum tomatoes to the pot and incorporate. Add the remainder of the ingredients and simmer on medium-low for about 2 to 3 hours.
This recipe can be halved very easily.
